ManyPixels vs Flocksy: hours vs requests (2026)

TABLE OF CONTENTS

TL;DR
ManyPixels and Flocksy are both unlimited design subscriptions, but they meter work differently. Flocksy sells designer hours, from $1,199/mo (annual) or $1,699/mo (monthly) for 42 hours a month. ManyPixels sells a daily output from $699/mo. For steady marketing graphics, ManyPixels delivers similar volume for less. Flocksy wins on bundled video, copy and rolled-over hours.
- ✅ Best value for steady social and ad graphics: ManyPixels Advanced at $699/mo, roughly 42 to 63 social graphics a month for about $11 to $17 each.
- 💰 Same $1,199, two different deals: Flocksy's 2-daily-hour plan on an annual contract (42 hours) or ManyPixels Business month to month (two daily outputs, motion and video included).
- 🎬 Best for video and copy on the entry plan: Flocksy, whose 2-daily-hour plan includes a video editor, motion editor and copy support.
- ⚠️ Flocksy's $1,199 is the annual rate. Month to month, the same 42 hours cost $1,699, which works out to $40.45 an hour.
- ❌ Skip Flocksy if your budget is under $1,199 a month. Its smallest plan costs more than ManyPixels Advanced on any billing term.
Most design subscriptions sell "unlimited requests" and leave you to figure out how much actually gets done in a day. Flocksy took the opposite route: it sells hours and shows you every minute it bills. ManyPixels sells a daily output, a predictable chunk of finished work every business day.
Neither unit is a trick. But they reward very different buying habits, and the price on each pricing page doesn't tell you which one gets you more work. So we did the conversion. We took Flocksy's own published averages for how long each deliverable takes, ran them through its plans, and set the result against what a ManyPixels daily output typically covers.
Here's what we found, including the places where Flocksy is the better buy.
Every price below was checked on the live Flocksy pricing page and the ManyPixels pricing page on 7 October 2026. Both companies adjust pricing, so check before you buy.
How much work do Flocksy's hours actually buy?
Flocksy's 2-daily-hour plan gives you 42 hours a month, which is about 42 social posts, 16 landing pages or 8 logos at Flocksy's own published averages. ManyPixels Advanced delivers one daily output, typically 2 to 3 social graphics a day, or roughly 42 to 63 a month across about 21 business days.
Flocksy publishes average times for common deliverables on its homepage, with the honest caveat "Averages. Complex work takes longer." Here's what those averages mean in a 42-hour month:
A fair warning about this table: both columns are each company's own typical figures, not guarantees. Flocksy's social post hour covers three sizes of one post, and a ManyPixels daily output varies with the brief. Treat the numbers as a volume guide, not a contract.
With that caveat, the per-asset math on social graphics looks like this:
Where the gap closes is bigger, slower work. A logo or a brand guide takes several days of daily outputs on ManyPixels, and Flocksy's hourly averages for those jobs are efficient. Bottomline: for high-volume marketing graphics, the daily output model buys more work per dollar. For a handful of big projects a month, the two get much closer.
How much do ManyPixels and Flocksy cost in 2026?
ManyPixels costs $699 to $2,599 a month on monthly billing, or $559 to $2,079 a month on a yearly plan. Flocksy costs $1,199 to $3,799 a month on an annual contract, or $1,699 to $5,899 a month on monthly billing, across seven tiers from 2 to 8 daily hours. Flocksy's cheapest plan costs more than ManyPixels' cheapest on every billing term.
The table below shows the Flocksy tiers that overlap ManyPixels' price range. Our Flocksy alternatives guide has the full seven-tier table with hourly rates.
ManyPixels also offers quarterly billing ($629, $1,079, $1,259 and $2,339). Pricing can change, so always check for current rates.
The most useful comparison is the one at exactly $1,199. On Flocksy, $1,199 a month buys 2 daily hours, but only if you sign up for a year. On ManyPixels, $1,199 a month buys the Business plan month to month: two daily outputs, with motion and video included. That's roughly twice the social-graphic volume of Flocksy's 42 hours, with no annual commitment.
Flocksy does get cheaper per hour as you buy more. Its 8-daily-hour annual plan works out to about $22.61 an hour, against $28.55 on the 2-hour annual plan. If you genuinely need a full-time-equivalent creative team, that scaling is real, and it's covered in more detail in our roundup of unlimited graphic design companies.
What happens to revisions and quiet weeks?
On Flocksy, revisions are unlimited in number but come out of your hours, and unused hours roll over for up to 30 days. On ManyPixels, revisions go back to the top of your queue and share the daily output with other work, and unused days don't carry over, though you can pause for $10 a month.
Flocksy's FAQ says there's no limit to revisions, and also that "each day, your team uses your available hours to move projects forward." In practice, that means revision time is design time. Dupple's hands-on Flocksy review puts it directly: "a heavy revision cycle eats capacity you wanted for new work."
To be fair, that's true of any capacity model, ours included. A ManyPixels daily output spent on revisions is a daily output not spent on a new request. The difference is visibility. Flocksy shows you the minutes, which some buyers love and some find stressful. ManyPixels bundles small revisions and near-finished tasks into the day's output, so you track progress by deliverables rather than by a clock.
Quiet weeks are where Flocksy has a real advantage. Its 30-day rollover means a slow week can fund next week's launch. On ManyPixels, an empty queue means a lost day, so keep a backlog of evergreen requests (ad variations, social templates, blog headers) ready. If a whole month is quiet, pause your ManyPixels subscription for $10 a month and keep access to all your files.
What can each service design on the entry plan?
Flocksy's entry plan includes more disciplines than ManyPixels' entry plan. Every Flocksy tier, including 2 daily hours, comes with a designer, video editor, motion editor and illustrator, plus copy support, across what Flocksy calls 140+ creative services. ManyPixels Advanced covers graphic design, web design and illustration. Motion graphics and video editing start on the Business plan at $1,199 a month.
So if your monthly mix is half video, compare Flocksy's $1,199 annual or $1,699 monthly plan with ManyPixels Business at $1,199, not with Advanced at $699. At that level, the deciding question is volume versus bundled copywriting.
Copy is the other clear Flocksy plus. ManyPixels designers work from the copy you put in the brief. If nobody on your team writes ad headlines or landing page copy, Flocksy's copy support saves a step.

Which is faster, ManyPixels or Flocksy?
Both promise quick turnaround at the entry level. Flocksy's pricing page lists same-day turnaround on its 2 and 3 daily hour plans and "same-day, prioritized" from 4 hours, and its homepage promises "real work back the next business day." ManyPixels Advanced and Business deliver next-day, and the Assigned Designer and Design Team plans deliver same-day.
Across the 150,000+ projects we've delivered since 2018, first drafts usually land within 24 to 48 hours. Complex projects like a full website take several days, with an update every business day. On paper, Flocksy's entry plan promises a faster turnaround than ManyPixels Advanced. Treat both as typical figures and test on a real brief.
Who do you actually work with?
Flocksy assigns the same dedicated team to every brief and adds a Production Coordinator from 4 daily hours and an Art Director on every brief from 6 daily hours ($2,999 a month annual). ManyPixels Advanced and Business plans include project managers and quality controllers, and the Assigned Designer plan ($1,399) lets you choose your designer from their portfolio and talk to them on Slack or Google Chat, 9AM to 6PM in US Eastern, Central European or Indochina time.
The trade-off is structural. Flocksy gives you more roles as you buy more hours. ManyPixels gives you more control over who does the work: at $1,399 a month you pick the person, and they learn your brand request after request.
Where Flocksy is the better choice
Flocksy is genuinely the better pick for some teams:
- Video-heavy content calendars. Reels, TikToks and short YouTube edits on the entry plan, with no upgrade needed.
- Teams without a writer. Copy support on every plan is rare among design subscriptions.
- Bursty workloads. 30-day hour rollover means a quiet week isn't wasted.
- Buyers who want an audit trail. Minute-level time tracking shows exactly where your money went.
- Large teams. At 6 to 8 daily hours, an Art Director on every brief and a falling hourly rate make Flocksy a credible in-house replacement.
Flocksy also offers a 14-day money-back guarantee, and you keep ownership of the work even after a refund. That's a strong safety net for a first month.
Which one should you choose?
If most of your requests are social posts, ads, email graphics and landing pages, and your budget is under $1,200 a month, 👉 choose ManyPixels Advanced or Business. You'll get more finished assets per dollar.
If video makes up a big share of your content and nobody on your team writes copy, 👉 choose Flocksy's 2-daily-hour plan, and take the annual rate only if you're confident you'll use it for a year.
If your work comes in bursts (a launch, then two quiet weeks), 👉 Flocksy's rollover helps. If whole months go quiet, ManyPixels' $10 pause is cheaper.
If you want one designer who learns your brand and talks to you in real time, 👉 choose ManyPixels Assigned Designer at $1,399 a month, which costs less than Flocksy's month-to-month entry plan.

FAQs
The bottom line
ManyPixels is the better value for teams that mostly need marketing graphics, landing pages and illustrations: it delivers roughly the same monthly volume as Flocksy's entry plan for less than half the month-to-month price. Flocksy is the better buy if your workload is video-heavy, you need copy alongside design, or your work comes in bursts that rolled-over hours can absorb. Choose by the shape of your workload, not by which unit sounds more generous.
