Fiverr has a level system that helps its users choose a freelancer and increase customer satisfaction. Here we explain the New Seller, Level One, Level Two, and Top Rated Seller levels in detail.

Fiverr is a freelancing platform that is pretty simple to use for both employers and freelancers, or as they are called on Fiverr, buyers and sellers. And choosing a freelancer is really simple because of the straightforward and easy-to-understand level system. There are many reasons for it, starting with customer satisfaction, timely delivery and high quality.

So before you immediately go look for star reviews and pro sellers, read the following requirements a seller has to have before reaching a certain tier, and decide what’s best before placing an order.

Table 1.jpg

New Seller level

When someone opens a new Fiverr profile and has a gig, they don’t have to meet any certain requirements and are automatically labeled as a New Seller.

The Fiverr platform attracts a lot of professionals who do many different types of gigs, from astrology readings and voice-overs to SEO and WordPress maintenance. So, it comes as no surprise that there are many gig titles you’ll stumble upon, and many new sellers who offer those services.

Here are the benefits a New Seller gets:

  • 7 Active Gigs
  • 2 Gig extras (Gig extra is the ability to expand the offer and earn extra money from a gig)
  • 5 Gig Multiples (The ability for a buyer to get the same gig in a larger amount)
  • Send Custom Offers, up to $5,000
  • Earning clearance: 14 days

You’ll easily see if someone offers a new gig in the search engine, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t as good as the more experienced sellers on the platform. The best way to find out a New Seller is good is to buy a smaller gig and regularly communicate with the freelancer to avoid misunderstandings and disputes.

Level One Seller

For a freelancer to move up a rank there are many requirements, so naturally, you can expect higher quality as the levels go up.

The Level One status is an automatic process, where Fiverr reviews the sellers’ performance in the past 60 days and puts them in this tier only if they meet these required standards:

  • They have completed at least 60 days as an active Seller on Fiverr
  • They have completed at least 10 individual orders (all time)
  • They earned a minimum amount of $400
  • Maintained a 4.7-star rating over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Response rate over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Order completion over the course of 60 days
  • 90% On-time Delivery over the course of 60 days
  • Avoiding receiving warnings over the course of 30 days

If the seller meets these requirements and reaches Level One, they also get benefits:

  • 10 Active Gigs
  • 4 Gig Extras ($5, $10, $20, $40)
  • 10 Gig Multiples
  • Send Custom Offers, up to $5,000
  • Earning clearance: 14 days
  • Eligibility to be featured at promotional listings

Level One sellers are not aged and proven veterans but are definitely up-and-coming hard workers who have some experience in the gig business. If you want a less expensive Fiverr gig you might buy more than once, this level is perfect for that. Sellers here have more affordable rates, but need to prove their worth and will be easier to get a hold of for a longer project, like social media management, audio editing, etc.

Level Two Seller

Similar to the previous one, Level Two is reached through an automatic process. The Fiverr platform reviews the sellers’ performance in the past 60 days, and if they meet the standards they can achieve the ranking.

The conditions to reach this level are a bit harder to achieve, so expect sellers from this tier to be highly skilled, quickly responsive and able to do high-quality work.

Here are the requirements they have to meet:

  • Complete at least 120 days as an active Seller on Fiverr
  • Complete at least 50 individual orders (all time)
  • Earn at least $2,000
  • Maintain a 4.7 star rating over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Response rate over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Order completion over the course of 60 days
  • 90% On-time Delivery over the course of 60 days
  • Avoiding receiving warnings over the course of 30 days

Of course, with surpassing Level One, sellers also gain more benefits, such as:

  • 20 Active Gigs
  • 5 Gig Extras ($5, $10, $20, $40, $50)
  • 15 Gig Multiples
  • Send Custom Offers, up to $10,000
  • Priority Customer Support
  • Eligibility to be featured at promotional listings
  • Eligibility for Customer Success program
  • Earning clearance: 14 days

Level Two sellers are already proven to be good workers, since they are capable of delivering on time, completing 90% of their orders for two months, and earning a fairly good amount of money in this timeframe. Definitely hire them if you’re looking for quality and reliability for projects you can’t afford to have mistakes and revisions: Mobile App design, Software Development, Google Analytics reporting…

Top Rated Seller

Moving onto the cool overachievers of the bunch: the Top Rated Sellers. This tier is comprised of an elite group of sellers, that have more than just great delivery time and positive reviews.

Reaching this tier can only be done through a manual process: as the Fiverr seller offers a continuous excellent experience for their buyers, the Fiverr team goes through their performance and confirms the eligibility for someone to become a Top Seller.

Here’s which requirements they have to meet:

  • Complete at least 180 days as an active Seller on Fiverr
  • Complete at least 100 individual orders (all time)
  • Earn at least $20,000
  • Maintain a 4.7 star rating over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Response rate over the course of 60 days
  • 90% Order completion over the course of 60 days
  • 90% On-time delivery over the course of 60 days
  • Avoiding receiving warnings over the course of 30 days

After working really hard, it’s time for Top Sellers to also reap the fruits of their labor. These are the benefits a Top Seller Fiverr account enjoys:

  • 30 Active Gigs
  • 6 Gig Extras ($5, $10, $20, $40, $50, $100)
  • 20 Gig Multiples
  • Custom Offers, up to $10,000
  • VIP Customer Support
  • Eligibility to be featured at promotional listings
  • Eligibility for Customer Success program
  • Earning clearance: 7 days

Since Top Sellers obviously have higher fees but near-flawless portfolios, they are perfect for one-time big projects. Don’t be stingy when ordering a logo design for your new company, or a new website for your brand, and instead order a Fiverr gig from a seller from the highest tier.

Conclusion

Hopefully, this made it easier for you to grasp the difference between levels in the Fiverr Level System. This should help you to pick the perfect Seller and have your needs met the most optimal way possible.
