Turnaround & delivery times
Every designer on ManyPixels delivers roughly one unit of work per business day. What a unit looks like depends on what you're asking for. Here's the baseline.
Rough daily output per designer
In any given business day, a designer can typically produce one of the following:
- 2 to 3 social media graphics
- 1 to 2 custom illustrations (more if they're simple)
- 2 to 3 display ads
- 4 to 5 pages of a brochure, e-book, report, or deck
- 1 GIF draft (2 to 3 seconds)
- 1 to 2 flyers
- 1 logo draft
- First draft of a landing page
These are averages. Complex requests take longer. Simple ones go faster. If you need to plan, use the numbers above as a baseline and assume at least one revision cycle.
Working hours and schedule
We run Monday to Friday, year-round. The only two days we're fully closed are December 25 and January 1. Our design team is based in Singapore (SGT, GMT+8), so most output lands in your inbox overnight if you're in North America or Europe.
You can submit requests at any time, including weekends and holidays. They'll be picked up on the next business day.
Heads up: December gets busy. If you have year-end deliverables, submit them a couple of weeks early.
What affects your turnaround
Three things move the needle on how fast your work comes back:
- Queue length. Your designer works top-to-bottom. If you have ten items stacked, item ten waits.
- Brief quality. A clear brief with references gets a clean first draft. A vague brief triggers clarifying questions before any work starts.
- Complexity. A Facebook ad is not a 40-page annual report. Plan accordingly.
How capacity works on each plan
There are two different models depending on which plan you're on.
Team-based plans (Advanced and Business)
Your account uses our shared design team and you get a set number of daily outputs.
- Advanced Plan: 1 daily output, next-day delivery
- Business Plan: 2 daily outputs, next-day delivery
The daily output estimates at the top of this article apply here. One output roughly equals, for example, 2 to 3 social graphics or one landing page draft.
Dedicated designer plans (Assigned Designer and Design Team)
These plans work differently. You don't get a daily output quota, because you have a designer (or two) assigned exclusively to your account.
- Assigned Designer Plan: one part-time designer assigned to you. They work part-time hours on your requests each business day, same-day delivery.
- Design Team Plan: two part-time designers assigned to you, working the same part-time model. Effectively double the throughput of Assigned Designer.
On these plans, throughput depends on your designer's working hours and the complexity of what's in your queue. There's no hard cap on how much they'll produce, it's just bounded by how long they're working that day.
